i tried the super frost platinum hard as nails wraps, it had a beautiful shiny and glossy finish to it, i painted a white tip on all of my nails and it looked like i'd got acrylics i was very happy as i love the fake nails look but don't like the damage they do to your nails, i used sally hansen hard as nails natural tint base coat and sally hansen insta-dri top coat was very pleased with the finished look

Hard as Wraps .... oh yeah?

Bought two of these in Boots about a month ago (can't resist an offer: buy one, get next half price). How stupid was that! I have weak nails as a result of years of chemotherapy. Used Miracle Cure, which seems good (although don't know whether it 'cures'). Hard as Wraps sounded just ideal, could use on its own or as base coat. I find it starts flaking off in less than 24 hours (I DO know how to clean my nails properly beforehand: I can do a manicure that lasts me 9 days). Tried it several times, also once as a base coat: same story every time. I'm now stuck with 2 bottles of an expensive product that I feel is a waste of space and money. Tried to find a contact telephone number to discuss it, but as I can't find one I am now posting it to be seen publicly. Shame.

It has made a difference

I bought this in the hope that it would seal my nails as they peel and flake alot, to the point that I cannot grow them. The product has left my nails feeling harder, and although it did peel I followed another user's instructions to make sure my nails are clean and oil free before applying it. A week later and my nails have not peeled further or broke off. I find adding a thin coat every day to just the tip helps as well. Hopefully all the damaged bits will grow out so I will continue to use the product and will update later.

I have recently started using this product. Unfortunately I badly damaged a thumb nail in May (shut in a car door, ouch) and I wanted something to protect it as it regrows. The result is that, as I've used it on all my other nails too, they are all growing, stronger and longer than ever before! Normally my nails are very weak and hardly grow before snapping, especially with typing most of the day. Now I can't help but stare at them all the time!!! I do find it quite difficult to remove but it's worth it. I wanted to ask if there is any problem using this product long term? My nails are looking quite dull underneath. Am trying to put on your nail pen too but keep forgetting... Thank you (and the thumbnail is growing back nicely)
